The elegant French brand Carven launched in 1945 as a couture house that catered especially to petite women—designer Madame Carvan was a just over five-feet-tall herself. But in 2009, former Givenchy designer Guillaume Henry took the reigns and completely re-invented the label as a ready-to-wear powerhouse. Some of our favorite celebrities are certainly taking notice. This year, Kim Kardashian has worn the label (along with her fashion twin Ciara!) in Paris. Emma Watson stepped out in a taupe Carven dress for her Today show appearance this morning. While Kate Walsh opted for a rust-colored, body-con look earlier this season. Shop Like a Star on Boutiques.com

This morning, Google launched their new shopping site, Boutiques.com. The whole site is pretty neat; however, we’re particularly excited about the star shops which spotlight the sartorial preferences of women like Carey Mulligan, Claire Danes, and others. In each celebrity shop, you’ll find pieces from their favorite designers and often bits of info about their fashion sense. For example, Claire is quoted as saying,”I grew up in downtown NYC, so I constantly have to curb my penchant for black. I love to match the old and the new; to pair wacky one-offs with classic, beautifully tailored pieces that will last for years.” Click over to Web site to read more!

Breaking! Rachel Zoe Is Pregnant

Get ready for couture onesies! Super-stylist Rachel Zoe is indeed expecting. She tweeted today, “Hey everyone! I want to officially confirm to my loyal friends and followers that I am pregnant!…” and “I feel great, Rodger and I are beyond excited and so thankful for all of your love and support. xo RZ & RB.” Just think: If Baby Zoe is a girl, she can grow up to borrow from her mom’s legendary closet! Lucky lady. Congrats Rachel and Rodger!

His next role is a superhero, he’s married to one of the most beautiful women in the universe and his six-pack abs are sculpture-worthy, so it’s only natural that Ryan Reynolds is People’s Sexiest Man Alive. That doesn’t mean the Green Lantern actor and husband to Scarlett Johansson is letting the attention go to his head. “This gives my family entre into teasing me for the rest of my life,” he joked. “Now it’s going to be, ‘Sexiest man, take out the garbage.’” Ryan said.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue. Tune in tonight to watch 25 Years of Sexy, a retrospective of past title-holders that’s hosted by not-so-shabby-herself, Kim Kardashian. The show airs on ABC at 10 pm.
