Project Runway fans will be delighted to see that Heidi Klum made good on her word by wearing Mondo to the premier of Black Swan last night in Hollywood. Mondo was Season 8′s runner-up, and he lost by such a slim margin to Gretchen Jones that fellow judge Nina Garcia suggested they consider naming two winners. As anyone who watched the show knows, Heidi was a very vocal supporter of Mondo and promised to wear his Project Runway finale dress with minor alterations. Just another reason to love Heidi—she’s gorgeous and true!

I would have preferred it long-sleeved still. The sleeveless version made her bigger.

Oh GOOD FOR HIM! Like Tim Gunn said a lady had told him, “Gretchen needs the money” to popularize her line; Mondo’s is so inherently fabulous it even has Heidi and (most of) us ALREADY clamoring for it. Speaking of, WHERE can we get it, InStyle? Btw, THANKS for the post :D

Loved Mondo’s whole line. I just think project runway shouldn’t be for blah clothes. That is what we want to see. Cool, hip, glam, with a whole lot of pop. Mondo had all that!!! Glad to see Heidi rocking the dress. Sorry, I think all America knew it was all about Mondo…

So loved this dress, but taking the sleeves off was just wrong. It took the balance away from the lines of the dress. Kudos to Heidi for supporting her appreciation of Mondo’s design!!
