Long enough to keep your legs warm, but shiny enough to provide a little evening-ready glitz, glamorous maxi skirts have been spotted on style icons Michelle Obama and Iman. Each paired her Rachel Roy skirt with a top in the same color family, which seems like the most stylish (and simplest!) way to go. We’ll definitely be keeping this look in mind come holiday party season!

Victoria Beckham‘s curve-hugging dresses have taken over Hollywood, spotted on famous figures like Kim Kardashian, Cameron Diaz, and even Oprah! And the fashionable Brit shows no signs of slowing down. Victoria tells WWD, “This time next year, I would love to have e-commerce. That’s something that I’m really researching.” But she’s also interested in a brick and mortar outpost too: “Having my own store would be great.” Could you imagine all those gorgeous sheaths in one room? As for where she’d launch the store, Victoria continues, “I’m very proud to be English and an English designer, and I think that my style is quite European. But I live in America. America is a big territory for me—would it be London? Would it be New York? I don’t know. New York sounds quite fabulous.” Fabulous (for us!), indeed.

There’s never been a better time to invest in a Burberry trench coat. The brand is introducing an online bespoke service early next year, WWD explains, that will allow shoppers to customize the iconic coats to their individual likings with studs, monograms, color combos, etc. So you can mimic Rachel Bilson‘s, Blake Lively‘s, or Kate Bosworth‘s Burberry picks—or simply dream a design on your own! In fact, Burberry’s Chief Creative Director Christopher Bailey explains, “there will be more than 12 million options.” That should satisfy even the most selective of customers!

Famed British label Barbour, known for its country lifestyle clothing, is launching a new higher-end line called Barbour Gold Label, WWD reports. The first collection for fall 2011 will be designed by Alice Temperley. Considering how popular the brand’s classic wax cotton jackets are (Alexa Chung loves hers!), you can expect to see a lot of this new line on the streets and on your favorite stars in the coming year.
While the famous Victoria’s Secret fashion show tapes tomorrow, it won’t air until November 30th. But fear not—we’ve got a video preview of the lingerie! There are six different sections of the show (themed “A Night of a Thousand Fantasies”), meant to represent six different types of women. Find out what the Angels have to say about the distinct styles now!
