We love when fashion’s funny! On Friday, Donatella Versace stopped by The View to talk about her childhood, charity work and her reaction to Maya Rudolph‘s famous impersonation of her on SNL. Turns out, Donatella’s got a great sense of humor: “I thought it was hilarious. Actually I talked to her on the phone once. I called her and I gave her some suggestions about how to do me better because I told her I don’t drink. Take off the jewelry because it looks too fake. I only wear real. Justin Bieber to Launch Designer Fragrance

Justin Bieber has become quite the beauty entrepreneur. While he already has a nail polish collaboration with OPI and scented dog tags in the works, the teen sensation somehow found time to create a fragrance. In partnership with a new charitable lifestyle products company called Give Back Brands, Justin will create a women’s designer fragrance to launch in the summer of 2011. A portion of the proceeds will go to a charity of Justin’s choosing. “The idea that I could create an amazing fragrance that I love, and actually give back to a charity that matters to me at the same time was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up,” Justin said.

As other Victoria’s Secret models are prepping for November 30th’s big runway show, Doutzen Kroes has been busy planning an equally big day—her wedding! The day came last Sunday, when the Dutch beauty married producer Sunnery James in a strapless Pronovias gown. Congrats to the happy couple!

Congrats to all the New York City Marathon Runners!

New York City turned into one big race track yesterday for the running of the ING Marathon. Who’s fit enough to run 26.2 miles in one shot? Today Show host Meredith Vieira (left, at a 2007 race) for one. She says she was inspired to run the race after co-host Al Roker signed up. “I’ve always wanted to run a marathon,” she told the Today Show blog. “I’ve been a ‘runner’ for years and years. Nothing more than six miles. But it was really Al who inspired me. When Al said he was going to do it, it triggered it in me.”

Veronica Webb, Bobby Flay, Robin Quivers, Anthony Edwards, Amani Toomer of the New York Giants, Jared Folge of Subway fame and rescued Chilean miner Edison Pena joined Meredith and Al in the race.

Karina Smirnoff Engaged!

Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff is engaged to hunky pro-baseball player Brad Penny. The couple managed to keep the engagement a secret for a month—Brad popped the question on October 4th, presenting Karina with a 4.5 carat Asscher-cut diamond. The romantic surprises didn’t stop there, however: Brad wasn’t able to join Karina for Tao’s 5th anniversary party in Vegas this past weekend, so he sent her a hand-written note in a fortune cookie and an Everlon diamond necklace. “I’m marrying a Southern gentleman,” Karina said. Hey Karina, does Brad have a brother?
