Christy Turlington Burns will front Avon’s new fragrance, Slip Into, which is inspired by the transformative experience of donning a pair of stilettos. “I can really admire [high heels] because I don’t wear them too often,” Turlington Burns, shown above in a behind-the-scenes moment from the ad campaign shoot, told WWD. “I’m not one of the moms who wears heels when dropping the kids at school.” The scent is a down-to-earth blend of freesia, black raspberry and rosewood, and will launch in Europe this January. Sadly, the fragrance won’t be hitting this side of the pond until October 2011—but as every shoe fanatic knows, some things are well worth the wait.
