Combine the ultra likable Kristin Davis with baby elephants in Kenya and you’ve got a video we could watch all day long. The big-hearted actress helped rescue an orphaned, emaciated elephant named Chaimu and nursed it as well as others back to health. “You do not want to get in the way of them and their milk,” the actress said. Read more about her adventure at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust on page 86 of our November issue and watch the video above for an up-close look. Moreover, make sure to check part two of the video after the jump for an update on how the elephant’s doing now.

What a beautiful story and presentation by Kristen Davis. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust does wonderful and groundbreaking work not only with elephant and rhino husbandry but also for the local community in educating children and locals on the value of these amazing creatures.
