Michelle Williams Transforms Into Marilyn Monroe

Today we got the photographic proof that Williams’s transformation into the platinum-tressed Monroe is complete! Filming has begun on My Week With Marilyn, the story of a 23-year-old Oxford student who befriended the Hollywood icon after meeting her on the set of the The Prince and The Showgirl in 1956. Clearly, casting Williams as Marilyn has proven to be sheer genius. And considering that her co-stars are some of England’s finest actors (including Judi Dench, Emma Watson and Kenneth Branagh as Sir Laurence Olivier), we’re already sure that My Week With Marilyn will be a must-see movie in 2011.
