This Sunday, you’ll be signing your checks (if you still write them…) 10/10/10, and in honor of this perfect ten occasion, we’re declaring a holiday! After all, who doesn’t love a top ten list? We picked our favorite gowns from the last ten years—and it wasn’t easy. Playing favorites with a decade of red carpet creations from designers like Dior, Valentino and Chanel forced some hard decisions. Click through the gallery for our stunning results —and enjoy this binary holiday!

This list is invalid without the addition of Keira Knightley’s Vera Wang mermaid dress from the Oscars a couple years ago. Best. Dress. Ever.

Missing some great dresses: Halle Barry Oscar dress by Elie Saab and Angelina Jolie Versace leather dress in 2005.

Wasn’t worth my time without Halle Berry’s Oscar dress by Elie Saab – wondered if this is a racist top ten

Anne Hathaway’s dress wins out by a land slide. I love all of the ladies, but some of that stuff looks like they were in a circus. I agree with the previous post about Halley Barry’s Oscar dress, but I believe that is older than a decade… not sure. Old Hollywood glamour wins every time in my book. I don’t want to see stuff I can wear and look better than the people on the red carpet? Perfection is expected… we like to dream we could ever look that good.

I agree about others feegnils being irrelevant but at times you still want to give it a shot and see if they’ve changed. Glad you liked the interview. Bob/Bobby’s a good dude.
