Keira’s Elegant New Bob
Oct 5, 2010 @ 10:44 amAs Karl Lagerfeld showed his latest Chanel collection in Paris today, Keira Knightly sat front row and debuted a brand new, shapely bob. “I had my hair bobbed about a month ago, then I had it freshly trimmed again this morning,” the star told InStyle.co.uk. And unlike many actresses, who show off shorter strands for a role—Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway— Knightly swears this crop was her own choice. “I did it for myself,” she said. Unsurprisingly, Knightly was awestruck by the Chanel show, “I loved it! It was just so beautiful!” We can only hope to see Knightly, her new bob, and a Chanel gown on a red carpet sometime soon.
I don’t like it. It no ‘s totally devoid of personality; as for edge – nada. It’s way too simple and adds age to her look – in a not-so-hot way! She looks just like any ordinary girl traipsing in the “real world”, but again, in a not-so-cute way. It looks as if she’s gonna shoot a future flop with a dead plot and lots of browns and black and neutrals to pass as wardrobe.
Bring back the edgy English andro that made us think Keira’s one of the loveliest faces in Hollywood! Keira’s looks are (or should I say, were?) simply too interesting to be played down with such an unremarkable (worse than horrendous!) hairstyle.
I hate Katie Holmes and am not a fan of Post-Spice Posh, but their bobs before oozed chic style in a genuine sense, not to mention turned them into instant beauty glamazons. This… this is just… um…
