See Mary-Kate and Ashley’s Latest Collection for The Row

Oct 5, 2010 @ 1:53 pm

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen just presented their latest collection for The Row in Paris over the weekend, and we’ve got the all the looks online for viewing. Their 15-piece Spring 2011 collection is full of effortless, floor-length dresses and perfectly-tailored jackets, a long way from the simple T-shirt the label first started with. As Mary-Kate explains in an exclusive video with Bing.com, “I think we became perfectionists at such a young age, so for us the fit is so important.” Fabric is also key in the twins’ collaborative design process. “We look at fabrics. We sort of have an idea of the silhouettes we’re feeling separately. We talk about it but also keeping in mind our customer—an educated woman, a woman that understands fit and what they like and what’s easy to wear,” continues Mary-Kate.  And they’ve nailed it this season.

Keira’s Elegant New Bob

Oct 5, 2010 @ 10:44 am

As Karl Lagerfeld showed his latest Chanel collection in Paris today, Keira Knightly sat front row and debuted a brand new, shapely bob. “I had my hair bobbed about a month ago, then I had it freshly trimmed again this morning,” the star told InStyle.co.uk. And unlike many actresses, who show off shorter strands for a role—Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway— Knightly swears this crop was her own choice. “I did it for myself,” she said. Unsurprisingly, Knightly was awestruck by the Chanel show, “I loved it!  It was just so beautiful!” We can only hope to see Knightly, her new bob, and a Chanel gown on a red carpet sometime soon.

DecadesTwo Hosts Sale With Lisa Rinna

Oct 5, 2010 @ 9:22 am

The following is a guest post from one of our favorite online shopping destinations, Decadestwo.

Everybody loves Lisa Rinna! So when we had the opportunity to post a pop-up shop at her boutique, Belle Gray, we jumped at the chance. October 8th and 9th, we’re heading over the hill to meet and greet some seriously chic Valley Girls, celebrate Lisa’s new reality show that debuted last night on TV LAND and thumb through copies of her new book, Starlit. For those of you who can’t make it to Belle Gray, don’t worry. We’re co-hosting a Lisa Rinna-inspired online sale with HauteLook starting tomorrow at 8am PST. Curated by Christos Garkinos, Lisa and the DecadesTwo team, the sale features dazzling dresses, chic coats and great tops that are inspired by Lisa’s sunny, yet sophisticated Southern California style. Lisa agreed to not only model her favorite pieces but throw in a few items from her own closet for the sale. For pop-up event coverage, daily arrivals and more fashion news, please visit our blog and follow us on Twitter!
