Beyonce and Tina Knowles are debuting a limited-edition temporary tattoo collection under the Dereon label with airbrush makeup brand Temptu. According to reporting by WWD, Tina Knowles, Dereon’s founder, creative director and designer said, “With a Sixties-pinup-girl meets-futuristic-biker-chick theme, Beyonce and I really wanted to give our Dereon fall 2010 campaign a tough edginess. We decided to invite Temptu to help us create custom body art for her to model with our fashions. The resulting images were so strong that we realized consumers might want to re-create the tattoos themselves.” These sexy temporary tattoos will be available in both deluxe and basic packages on November 1st. Not only are they waterproof, but they are designed to last up to five days and come in four different designs. According to WWD, the basic kit, which you can buy at Sephora, Sephora.com, Temptu.com and Dereon.com for $16, will get you “eight temporary tattoos with two each of the four designs, ten tattoo application pads, and one of three kit designs, each featuring a different image of Beyonce, shot for the fall/winter Dereon ad campaign.” If that’s not enough, you can pick up the deluxe edition at Temptu.com and Dereon.com for $34, which includes everything you would find in the basic kit plus a signed photo of Beyonce and a chance to win a trip to New York for a photo shoot.
