L’Oreal Paris has announced that The Good Wife actress Julianna Margulies will be joining the beauty brand as the face of their antiaging line, RevitaLift. The actress told WWD, “I remember the first time I heard [the tagline "Because You're Worth It].” I was young, and I said to myself, ‘When I have money, I will buy beautiful products and feel I’m worth it.’” According to WWD, her favorite L’Oreal products include Kerastase and EverStrong hair care, Revitalift Complete SPF 30 Day Lotion and Preference hair color. The new L’Oreal ads will focus on Margulies’s skin which she has always considered to be her “[best beauty asset]…I got lucky: I have small pores. I am also very pale so I have stayed out of the sun most of my life,” she told WWD. The actress joins other L’Oreal Paris celebrity spokeswomen, like Diane Kruger and Beyonce. Her TV and print ads are scheduled to appear in the next year.
Beyonce and Tina Knowles are debuting a limited-edition temporary tattoo collection under the Dereon label with airbrush makeup brand Temptu. According to reporting by WWD, Tina Knowles, Dereon’s founder, creative director and designer said, “With a Sixties-pinup-girl meets-futuristic-biker-chick theme, Beyonce and I really wanted to give our Dereon fall 2010 campaign a tough edginess. We decided to invite Temptu to help us create custom body art for her to model with our fashions. The resulting images were so strong that we realized consumers might want to re-create the tattoos themselves.” These sexy temporary tattoos will be available in both deluxe and basic packages on November 1st. Not only are they waterproof, but they are designed to last up to five days and come in four different designs. More

Lauren Conrad’s latest book, Lauren Conrad Style, won’t hit bookstores till October 5th, but the publisher just released the first three chapters for previewing. “I’ve dressed myself for the camera for five years—and never repeated an outfit once. Now I’m not saying that all my outfits were good. In fact many of them were pretty bad. But I certainly learned a few things along the way,” she writes in the intro. The personal style guide features advice on building your wardrobe (Chapter 1), where Conrad encourages investing in basics like a little black dress and well-cut blazer, plus a few fun items like maxidresses and bold jewelry. Chapter 2 is all about perfecting the California-cool style of jeans and tees that Conrad writes will serve as “foundation for putting together great outfits.” Chapter 3 is all about the hunt (a.k.a. how to shop), and LC advises prepping for that as you would for a day in the wilderness! Click through the gallery below for a sneak peek of Conrad’s cute outfits and pre-order the coffee table book now.
