We couldn’t take our eyes off of the amazing print dress Lea Michele wore to sing “What I Did for Love” in last night’s season premiere of Glee. The bow-back design, which is part of an Urban Outfitters capsule collection by indie label Pegleg NYC, is now on sale for less than $40 at urbanoutfitters.com. Maybe we can’t match Lea’s pipes, but we can score her stage look. Now, where’s that spotlight?
Ooh la la! While Kim Kardashian tours Europe to promote her reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we’re doing our best to try and keep up with all of the chic ensembles she’s been wearing. “What an amazing day in Paris!” Kim tweeted after touring the Louvre, browsing at Hermes and playing a round of mini golf—wearing her 4-inch YSL Tribute platforms all the while! Click on to see more photos of Kim’s jet-setting style!
It’s official! The rumor mill was right—Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will join Randy Jackson as judges on American Idol. The superstar singers have signed on for the 10th season of the uber-talent show. Follow the live blog from the press conference at EW.com.
“Major!” described one of our editors as we gathered around to watch the newly-released promo for Glee‘s Britney Spears episode! And boy is he right. Featuring a montage of Rachel (Lea Michele) and Brittany (Heather Morris) in all of Spears’ sexiest, most provacative costumes, dancing to the hipnotic beats of her greatest hits like “Toxic” and “Baby One More Time,” it’s no wonder Sue Sylvester is shaking in her tracksuit. The sure-to-be epic episode airs next Tuesday on FOX. Check out the clip above and tell us your favorite Britney Spears moment in the comments section below!
Whitney Port has been busy gal, first debuting her Spring 2011 collection for her clothing line, Whitney Eve, and now a capsule collection for e-retailer, Piperlime.com. Port will reveal the 14-piece line—which includes dresses, tops, jackets and sweaters—tonight at Piperlime’s pop-up store in N.Y.C.’s Soho, but we’ve got a sneak peek at some of the sketches! Inspired by a “ballerina-meets-urbanista,” the sketches of draped dresses and cozy sweaters (perfect for warming up at the ballet bar) are right on cue. Whitney Eve with Piperlime will be available exclusively online and at the pop-up store starting tomorrow.
Nobody does a sophisticated biker babe like Burberry’s Christopher Bailey, and his Spring 2011 collection, hailed “Heritage Biker,” was no exception. A nod to Thomas Burberry’s first motorbike looks from the early 1900′s, stars like Sarah Jessica Parker, Alexa Chung and Cat Deeley watched (and modeled) tiny leather jackets, painted-on leggings, ruched-everywhere dresses and newly interpreted versions of the iconic trench (think: super shrunken and studded) walk the runway. But what we really loved most about the new collection was the too-hot-to-wait-for takeaway—styling tips you can wear now!
Tip 1: A spotted shoe or bag not enough for you? Try a little leopard dress.
Tip 2: Add a pop of neon—like a skinny belt or clutch—to tailored neutrals. They look especially new against camel.
Tip 3: Trade in your black leather jacket for camel one. It’s edgy, but not so severe.
Tip 4: Throw a leather vest over a pretty dress for an instant cool factor, minus the bulk.
