From astronaut Buzz Aldrin to Beyonce, a who’s who in entertainment, politics and pop culture have played to the pre-school set since Sesame Street first premiered in 1969. A whole new crop of celebrity guest stars will stop by the neighborhood during the 41st season of the iconic kids program, which kicks off on September 27th. Zoe Saldana and Jude Law play some word association, Katy Perry tweaks her hit song “Hot N Cold” for a duet with the loveable Elmo and Ryan Reynolds temporarily hangs up his macho leading man image in favor of playing a little dress up. Click through our gallery to see more of the stars who will be hanging out on Sesame Street this fall.

WHY are these ADULT celebrities on a CHILDS show?
These children aren’t going to know who they are?!
Unless, of course they were allowed to watch Closer, and listen to Katy Perry’s ‘You’re So Gay’ or the video for ‘California Gurls’ at the ripe old age of….4?

Am I going to let MY 4 year old watch an adult movie completely based of adultery, or watch music videos with snippets of swear words in them?
No.
So I would not expect them to know who these people are when they appear on their kiddie program after school.

And if Katy Perry insists on being on this program, at least cover your cleavage.
You’re not on-stage performing or at the VMA’s showing off a stripper get-up.
Cover it up, my 4-year-old is watching.

That dress at least had some sort of mesh thingy on it but yeah, it’s a lil too much for a kids show.

I will turn on my TV on September 28th, when “Glee” has their tribute episode to Britney Spears.
