Marcjacobs.com just got a makeover—debuting a fun, new playful way to shop all your favorite Marc collections. Inspired by an actual in-store shopping experience, the new site mixes illustration with photography and video to bring you a “virtual store,” complete with a boutique facade (left) and cartoon sales people. President Robert Duffy and Jacobs are the  “buyers” for the site, which features a curated selection of Marc Jacobs collection, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Little Marc, plus a variety of special, inexpensive items (T-shirts, key chains, colored pencils) that have kept the Bleeker Street store in N.Y.C. jam-packed during the holiday season. “It’s going back to the roots of the Marc Jacobs brand…fun, entertaining, engaging, and cool,” James Gardner, CEO of the site’s design firm, told WWD.
