Martha Stewart Interviews Top Fashion Designers

Who knew Martha Stewart was such a fashionista? In an upcoming special for the Hallmark Channel, the domestic diva and media mogul interviews Tory Burch, Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan and J. Crew’s Jenna Lyons. Naturally, with subjects this successful, the show is as much about empire building as it is about clothes. “This is true American dream here,” Diane von Furstenberg pointed out during her segment. “We have you as the big American dream and me as the little American dream.” Relaxed with her peers, Martha saucily jokes with them about dating, bodysuits (she’s pro) and her favorite stilettos. In short, Martha Stewart: The Women Who Dress America is the perfect blend of girl talk and business wisdom—get a sneak peek after the jump and tune in this Sunday at 9:00/8:00 Central.

Emma Stone’s Easy A: a Weekend Must-See!

Sep 17, 2010 @ 1:08 pm

Last night, I had the pleasure of previewing Emma Stone’s new teen comedy, Easy A, at an exclusive screening hosted by InStyle. Besides the seriously laugh-out-loud film itself, the evening’s hightlight was an introduction by Stone’s charming and gorgeous co-star, Penn Badgley. “Sorry I’m not as feminine and redheaded as Emma Stone,” he began, going on to suggest his leading lady’s ease with the “dialogue heavy” script led to a star-making performance. Although you may not get to rub elbows with Badgley when you hit the theater, Easy A—which opens today—is still a must-see!
