Retail therapy just got a little more high tech! On September 21st, the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2011 runway show will stream live to 25 locations worldwide and be immediately ready to buy via iPad. Says Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey, “Customers at the exclusive in-store digital event will experience the clothes, the music, the energy and the atmosphere in real time and have the unique opportunity to receive their orders in just seven weeks.” Those of us who didn’t score a much-coveted invite can purchase runway pieces from Burberry.com and get the same lickety-split service.

Angelina Jolie Visits Pakistan To Speak With Victims

After a hectic promotional tour for Salt, Angelina Jolie spent two days in Pakistan this week to raise awareness about the disastrous floods that recently invaded the country. Jolie is currently serving as a Goodwill Ambassador to the U.N. and spent her visit at Kandaro II Camp in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province listening to those who were affected by the floods. “I am very moved by them and I hope that I am able to do something to help bring attention to the situation for all of the people in need in Pakistan,” Jolie told InStyle.co.uk. “This is not just a humanitarian crisis, it is an economic and social catastrophe.” Jolie exhibited a hopeful attitude when she spoke to CNN saying there is, “no choice but to be optimistic and to have hope.” More

Victoria Beckham is Gearing Up for Fashion Week

Today is the first official day of New York Fashion Week and Victoria Beckham is wasting no time making her splash. The designer was spotted in London’s Heathrow airport on Tuesday—looking chic in a vintage Andre Courreges sheath and bow-fronted Miu Miu heels—en route to N.Y.C. Beckham will unveil her Spring 2011 dress collection to an intimate group of editors this Sunday and rumors are swirling that she will also debut a handbag collection, which might be co-designing with Katie Hillier.
