DWTS Costume Designer Inks Major Fashion Deal

Randall Christensen, the costume designer behind all the glittering outfits on Dancing with the Stars, has just signed a deal to design women’s apparel, bridal, outerwear, footwear, jewelry and accessories. “The right costume for an individual’s body can be transformational. I have seen women grow a couple of inches taller right before my eyes, with the right clothes and accessories, that strap, minimize, lift, shape and accentuate,” said Christensen, who was responsible for Pam Anderson and Kate Gosselin’s sexy looks. “Every woman deserves that kind of confidence.” The collections will be a modern interpretation of his signature Hollywood glamour, but tailored for everyday dressing. Janie Bryant, Mad Men‘s costume designer, is adding jewelry to her QVC collection this fall, and InStyle.com has the exclusive first look! “The sparkles, colors, and crystals in the Janie Bryant MOD jewelry collection are inspired directly by my grandmother’s jewels,” Bryant told us. “I channeled my feeling of nostalgia for this time period and brought the elegance and glamour to life in my time collection.” The collection of necklaces, brooches and earrings (prices start at $26) will be available starting September 29th, along with the entire Janie Bryant MOD line.

The Victoria’s Secret model and British actor tied the knot in a private Caribbean ceremony back in June and speculation of Kerr’s pregnancy has been swirling. The 27-year-old Australian beauty just confirmed that she is about four months along. Congrats!

Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Adam Brody, Malin Akerman, Rebecca Lawrence and Jeremy Strong are convincing as their role as tight-knit college friends, goofing off on set in glittering dresses piled high with J. Crew’s signature layers and stunning jewelry and neat, preppy suits from the label’s weddings and parties collection. Holmes (left) models a crystal briolette dress ($1,500) and an olive poplin workshirt ($72). Although the issue doesn’t hit J.
