Evan Rachel Wood’s Gucci Perfume Ads Revealed!
Aug 11, 2010 @ 10:21 amWe reported back in June that Evan Rachel Wood had been named the face of Gucci’s yet-to-be-named new scent and now the campaign and the fragrance have been revealed! The True Blood star is utterly transformed in the ads for Guilty: Bronzed, blonde, and smoky-eyed, she looks positively hot-blooded alongside Scott Pilgrim vs. the World star Chris Evans. The scent, which hits stores this September, is a floral and oriental blend, and the bronze bottle is emblazoned with the iconic Gucci logo from the 1970s. In a release, Gucci stated that the fragrance is for a “bold and daring glamgirl who thinks only of pleasure,” which makes Wood the perfect choice in our book. What do you think of her new look? Tell us in the comments section below!

The image itself is gorgeous, but they have Photoshopped every single line and pore right off of her face. Skin has texture, she looks plastic. It would have been more beautiful if they’d have allowed a smidgen of reality to creep into this. (Note to women everywhere: She does not have incredibly perfect skin without pores and lines, it is make up, lighting, and Photoshop. If you hold yourself up to this insane advertising standard, you’ll never make the cut.)
