The 2010 Emmy Awards are just weeks away, and rather than placing bets on who will win, our favorite game around the office is “Who Will Wear What?” With so many stylish nominees in the running, we’ve been asking designers who they’d love to dress for the first major awards show of the season. “I’m not supposed to say,” teased Naeem Khan, who knows all too well that since an actress (just like any woman) often changes her mind at the last minute, it’s impossible to say what she’ll be wearing until she hits the red carpet. “But I have dressed Christina Hendricks before, and there’s a feathered dress from my current collection in a champagne color that would look great against her hair and skin.” Nicole Miller also thought of a familiar face when we posed the question to her at our Super Saturday event. “I’ve worked with Jessalyn Gilsig from Glee. I’d put her in a lovely gown, maybe with some draping. I really like nudes and blushes and pinks right now and those types of colors really look great on her,” Miller mused. Coincidentally, Gilsig admitted to us that she’s in a panic over what to wear on the big night when we saw her just a few days later. “There are so many dresses to try on that it’s exhausting,” Gilsig said.”I don’t know what I’m going to do!” Hey Jessalyn, call Nicole and your sartorial problems are solved!
