Rachel Zoe knew her fate long before she became famous: In her high school yearbook, the Millburn, New Jersey native, sporting permed hair and some serious bangs, choose the quote, “I’m ready for the world… but is it ready for me?” to accompany her senior photo in 1989. And today her chosen words ring true: The stylist-to-the-stars has her own collection for QVC, is launching an eponymous lifestyle brand and stars in a hit reality show, The Rachel Zoe Project, on Bravo, new episode airing tonight.

Can’t get enough of Zoe? Check out her career-making moments.

Wow, she looks so much better with a little meat on her! Love you Rach, but you are really wayyyyy toooo thin and it’s obviously not been a life long issue.

If that’s her senior pix, that means she’s somewhere in the range of 38. That I find hard to believe. She currently looks more like 45 and up to me.

She’s 38 right now, her birthday is Sept.1st 1971.

Wow! She actually used to EAT!

She looks beautiful here, such a lovely smile and bright eyes. I thought she was MUCH older than 38 too!! Mid 40′s. Love the show but wow, she really has aged prematurely. It’s a side effect of a long term eating disorder. Young girls should see this so they’ll “get” that being rail thin now may mean early wrinkles and sagging skin later (sorry Rachel, it’s sad but true). Plus, she has an incredibly stressful life. Not sure if being a mom (as her husband desires) will slow her down and make her more healthy or not. It seems to have helped Bethenny Frankel, so who knows.

I think she looks so pretty here! She almost looks like a different person. Not that she’s not pretty today, but here she looks very natural and comfortable! Women are so catty, leave her alone. She’s too skinny, someone else is too fat. That’s so annoying.
