This weekend, some of Hollywood’s leading ladies will gather at producer Jennifer Klein’s 12th annual Day of Indulgence party. What makes Amy Adams, Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel regulars at the exclusive backyard bash? “It’s a fun day of shopping and eating stuff that’s bad for you,” Rachel Bilson told us last year. Among the guilty pleasures that guests can look forward this year: pampering massages from Ona Spa, a shopping spread including must-haves from Henri Bendel, J Brand and Spanx, and sweet treats from Yummy Cupcakes, WannaHavaCookie and Auntie Fruf’s Aahsome Fudge. The day will also end on a high note, with each guest taking home a custom made Nike suitcase stuffed with more than 70 pounds of freebies. The booty includes gift certificates for free stays and spa treatments from hotels like the Four Seasons Maui and the Encantado Resort, beauty must-haves from Votre Vu, Clarisonic and Topshop, plus buzzed-about items like Cosabella’s super-sexy jean leggings, FujiFilm’s Instax Mini 7 camera and the Fruitz Natural Frequency Technology watch, which helps improve sleep, relieve stress and fight the aging process. There’s just one rule at this ultimate girls’ day out–absolutely no boys allowed. “I heard a guy came one year and Jennifer kicked him out!” Kristen Bell reported.

Faith Hill to Commemorate Katrina Five Years Later

Aug 6, 2010 @ 1:01 pm

On August 29th, 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated the city of New Orleans and its residents. Five years later, Tide Loads of Hope, a charity that provides relief for disaster victims by means of a mobile laundromat, will honor their resiliency and spirit with a free concert by their newest ambassador, Faith Hill, a Gulf Coast-area native. “”As a Mississippi native, I have witnessed the damage, both physical and emotional, that Hurricane Katrina inflicted on the Gulf Coast,” the country star said in statement. “I have been a champion of the work Tide does to restore a sense of hope and normalcy to those affected by disaster through providing a basic necessity—clean clothing.” The concert, being held August 24th in New Orleans, will only offer tickets via local radio contests, but you can pitch in right now by buying this vintage Tide T-shirt—all proceeds going towards the cause.

Fashion stylist-turned-designer L’Wren Scott has created a line of cosmetics with Lancome for their Holiday 2010 collection. “The first thing I thought of was that I wanted to do my signature red—my bordeaux,” Scott, a frequent sporter of ruby red lips, told WWD. Her first mission? “To interpret a red lipstick that could be worn from day to night.” And that hers does—depending on the application, you can wear it totally sheer or far darker. Prices will range from $15 for the nail polish to $42 for the eye quad palette, and the line hits stores this November.
