Last night, Jennifer Aniston (in a strapless nude Valentino) hit the fashionable U.K. department store Harrod’s to launch her first-ever signature scent. “I wanted this fragrance to be a personal library of scent memories,” the star said in a press release. “For example, my love of night blooming jasmine has lasted a lifetime. Growing up in California, I distinctly remember the scent of the jasmine on summer evenings.” Although Aniston has discussed her inspiration for the scent (and why it was such a labor of love), she’s stayed tight-lipped on the subject of the perfume’s actual name. So there’s been much speculation as to why she chose to stick with her own sobriquet after first considering calling it Lolavie; we’re thinking that despite the  “personal…and special significance” of the old name, it might have been too easily confused with Marc Jacobs’s Lola. Regardless, we can’t wait for the sexy, clean-smelling fragrance to hit the states. Can you? Tell us in the comments section below and check out more of Aniston’s ad campaign in the gallery below.

I love Jennifer Aniston. I think she is the perfect example of showing grace under fire and I will surely consider purchasing her perfume. I think she is a fine role model but what that has to do with perfume I don’t know.

Hey girls, Jenn is the real thing. No airbrushing here. She simply takes very good care of herself and exercises. Of course it helps that she is very good looking to begin with. But her bod is hers and its real. I look forward to her perfume.

Jennifer Aniston, not a good role model? Excuse me? Who is yours? Let me guess, Lady Ga- Ga? Jennifer is the epitome of Hollywood class, elegance and beauty. The limelight is hers, only becuase people can’t seem to get enough of her. She is the woman all woman in hollywood should take after. Never is she dressed inappropriately, never does she speak ill words towards anyone and she is humble and grateful for what she has. I’ll be 1st in line to buy her perfume. Given her impeccable taste with fashion I can only imagine it to smell lovely.

This woman tries so hard to be on every magazine’s cover. She would better settle down and have kids.

Perhaps we should all stop judging others. It is not our place to decide what is best for Jennifer Aniston. This is simply a new fragrance. If you don`t like the smell (or Jennifer), don`t buy it.

Yeah, the Olympics sprang to mind, as did HSBC’s rpetty hard marketing all of last year. I was actually rpetty pleased when ’09 rolled around and they let off.A lot of places in the US don’t have a 13th floor, but I figured it just made up for them counting the first floor wrongly ;o)You mention that luck is a Western idea and that unlucky is perhaps the wrong word would you care to expand on that? How would you better describe the Japanese/Chinese position on things such as these numbers? It seems very similar to lucky/unlucky from the point of view of someone who doesn’t believe in such superstitious mumbo jumbo
