It’s sweltering outside, but LOFT’s just-debuted 2010 Holiday collection has us dreaming of cozy layers, snow banks and fireplaces! Model Julia Stegner shows off the perfect winter weekend outfit: a striped blazer layered over a rosette tank, adding that festive je ne sais quoi to boyfriend jeans. And we can’t think of a chicer work-to-holiday party look than combining a belted faux fur vest with a classic cardi, brocade skirt and bare legs (assuming the November temps allow). Remember the scene in Clueless where Cher (Alicia Silverstone) used a computer program to visualize potential outfits before putting them on? Well, thanks to Target, you too can now imagine—and view—entire ensembles onscreen. The superstore’s new My Look Maker Facebook App allows you to select tops, bottoms, dresses, and a variety of accessories from their Merona line; once you build a look you like, the press of a button will take you to Target’s Web site, where you can easily purchase your picks. Convenient and cute!
On July 31st, Ashley Greene, Kelly Ripa and Donna Karan will help InStyle host the 13th annual Super Saturday event, a legendary fashion garage sale held in Water Mill, New York that has raised millions of dollars for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. More than 200 luxe brands including Giorgio Armani, Louis Vuitton and Stella McCartney will offer major designer discounts, but it’s not just V.I.P. bargain hunters who will get a great deal: Tune in to QVC Presents Super Saturday Live from 2pm-4pm (EST) for your chance to buy clothes, shoes and accessories at half off the suggested retail price, with the net proceeds going straight to the OCRF. Scoring your favorite labels for a steal while fighting cancer, all from the comfort of your home—that’s what we call guilt-free shopping!
If you’re among the millions who bought tickets for Eclipse, you may have already seen Jessica Biel’s latest commercial for Revlon. The 90-second spot, directed by Kathyrn Bigelow, promotes the brand’s Just Bitten Lipstain +Balm and aired in theaters before the film. Now, the cosmetic company has posted the clip to Facebook, so that non-Twi-hards (and anyone who was still in the popcorn line) can check it out. It’s surprisingly dreamy, but very effective: We might need to pop by the drugstore to pick up the Twilight tint on our way back from lunch!

Spotted: Our favorite Upper East Side duo, back on their home turf. After shooting the first part of Season 4 in the city of lights, Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester are again taking to the streets of New York in style. Paris has seemed to have had a lasting effect on Blair as she sports an alluring Gucci leopard print sheath, while Serena shows off her mile-long legs in a bohemian Diane von Furstenberg mini-dress. We also get a first look at Nate’s new ladyfriend, played by Katie Cassidy, so now there’s another wardrobe for us to lust after! Click on the gallery to see more of the cast’s N.Y.C. style.
We can’t wait to see Elizabeth Gilbert’s bestselling memoir Eat, Pray, Love come to life on the big screen (starring Julia Roberts!) in August, but happily we can tide ourselves over until then on HSN. Next month the shopping network will debut 400 unique fashion and home products plus accessories inspired by Gilbert’s travels through Italy, India and Indonesia, featuring labels like Timeless by Naeem Khan, Robin by Me&Ro and Padma Lakshmi. “She’s an American traveling through India. I felt the collection had to be connected to me as an American-Indian,” Khan told us. “The whole influence is from India, from the prints to the embroidery to the colors, but the shapes are modern and for women of today.” We’re most looking forward to Khan’s spice-colored maxidress (left). Tune into HSN on August 6th for 72 hours of Eat, Pray, Love loot!
Hear her roar: Julianne Moore’s Fall 2010 ads for Bulgari were just released and animals are still a major theme. (For the spring campaign, she posed with two cockatiels.) This go-round Moore lounges sans clothing, covered in eye-catching jewels and one of Bulgari’s lustworthy new Fall bags, with two lion cubs. We aren’t sure what to covet more, the adorable cubs or the luxe bags!
