They’re a notoriously private couple, so it’s no surprise that when Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem got married earlier this month, they chose to have a very low-profile ceremony in the Bahamas (the nuptials were held at a friends home). But that doesn’t mean that Cruz’s wedding dress followed suit: The actress wore a gown by Christian Dior Haute Couture designed just for her by John Galliano, a longtime friend of hers, who is not exactly known for his understated designs. Although we haven’t seen a shot of Cruz in her Dior confection yet, if her past red carpet appearances are any indication, we’re sure she looked stunning. Congrats to the newlyweds!
