Our newest interview with Courteney Cox features questions posed by you, InStyle readers, and the Cougar Town actress answered all as candidly as ever—even the oft-dreaded Botox question! “Aging gracefully is one thing, but trying to slow it down is another. Sometimes I use Botox. Compared to most, I use it very sparingly,” she told us. “One time I did too much, though. I feel weird if I can’t move my face, and that one time I overdid it, I felt trapped in my own skin.” Another reader asked the actress if she’d ever considered a career change: “No—although there was a time when my dad thought I should get out. It was right before I got Friends, and I probably had a month to go before I was completely broke. At one point my dad called me and said, ‘You have always been a great salesman. I think it’s time you come home and sell swimming pools.’ I don’t think I would ever quit acting, but there are other things I am interested in. I wanted to be an architect, and I wish I knew more about landscaping. I think I’d be a good therapist too.” How psyched are we she didn’t stop to sell pools? Check out the complete interview in the August issue of InStyle, on newsstands Friday.

I think it is so sad how when asked what she would do with a free day, Courteney Cox didn’t mention spending any time with her daughter…am I the only one who wants to spend any free time I have with mine?

Coco is always with Courteney, even when she’s at work. At their office Coquette she has her own little playroom, and she even is on filmsets with them. So she spends lots of time with Coco, i’ve seen zillions of pictures taken of them in private going out for icecream and things like that. Also Courteney always brings her to school, and picks her up, so she sure does like to spend time with her daughter.

And i can not wait to read the rest of the interview, i just love her bluntness. My favorite actress of all time.

wowww she looks beautifull.

She says sparingly when talking about botox but I think she is lying and lying to herself. Her face looks downright unrecognizable and scary because of all the botox use. It’s a shame because she is pretty and her insecurities about aging are making her face look plastic.

I think she is yet another self indulgent hollywood fake – she says she uses Botox “sparingly” – just look at her face – she can hardly move it. I have nothing against it – just tell the truth and stop the Hollywood scam of people who are insecure and self obsessed professing to not care and not do what they do to themselves to look the way they do. Courtney looked and acted her best when she was on stage with Springsteen – she looked genuine. Since her fame she has turned into yet another insecure, selfish, self serving Hollywood brat whose biggest worry when she was leaving Friends was whether she could call ahead and get a table at a restaurant. Wait your turn like the rest of us – because you and your friends “pretend” for a living that entitles you to special treatment. What a joke. Aniston is the same exact way – no wonder why they are such good friends. Two peas in a pod.

^So basically what you’re saying is, we are allowed to be insecure about ourselves (non celebrities), but because Courteney is insecure, she is a selfish fake?

Oh come on, first of all, she already told about her overdoing the botox back in 2008 in a Marie Claire interview. So i don’t get why people are making a big deal out of it now. Second of all, Courteney also said back then she has always been insecure, way before she was famous. She is human, just like we all are, and people who are that insecure (believe me, i know what it’s like) don’t see their own beauty and they don’t ever think they are looking good enough, no matter how beautiful they are. She sees herself differently, and when she says she uses botox sparingly, she is not lying, or trying to pretend she looks so young all by herself, you can say that about Nicole Kidman, or Demi Moore. They never admit anything while they have more done than Courteney. Courteney actually thinks it’s just a little bit of botox, and not too much. For example, people with anorexia don’t see they are waaay too thin, they say they don’t have an eating disorder, and say they actually look to fat. It’s the exact same thing, but nobody blames people for being anorexic, people have it for a reason, and should they feel selfish, just because they are other people out there who are actually overweight? Believe, for the people who have anorexia, or are extremely insecure, it’s a lot more difficult than for anybody else. So what are you whining about?

Also Courteney even showed her tummy on her show Cougar Town, which isn’t as tight as it was before she gave birth, and did not wear any make-up for the very first scene. So she actually shows people how even celebrities aren’t perfect looking, and that they also have their flaws.

Also when people compliment her on her looks, and say how youthful she looks, she never acts like that’s really her. She always says how it’s the make up, and the lighting. And that she really doesn’t look this great without make-up. So if you want to blame anyone for making other people insecure, blame the media. They are the ones photoshopping a totally gorgeous woman, who already looks good enough as it is. They are the ones pretending celebrities don’t have one flaw. Celebrities theirselves often don’t even like it when their pictures are being airbrushed, because it sets the wrong example for people, especially young girls who often are naieve and think they should look like that too.

But Courteney, as honest and blunt as she is, is the last person you can accuse of being selfish and fake. If you were a fan, and actually read all her interviews, and knew something on her background and personality, you would never say this about her.

I am in love with this magazine. This is the best magazine ever

I love Courteney. She is so blunt and real. And no one can call her phony or a liar in these interviews. It’s not like she is denying using botox. She even admits to overdosing!!! She is gourgeous and to all the people that think she is flawless without botox, think about it. There’s oboviously a reason she’s doing botox. When you see pics of her and say “man she is so pretty, i hope she never uses botox” its because in those pictures,,,she has used botox! I think she’s beautiful either away and my role model :D

Anyone know what kind/color of nail polish she’s wearing in the pictures? It’s really pretty on her – a beautiful shade of taupe.

I think Courteney looks fabulous! Love the new show and who the heck cares if she uses some botox?? Wish I could look like her!!
