Oprah Biopic Announced
Jul 13, 2010 @ 9:30 amLast April, the dirt-digging author Kitty Kelley made a splash with her unauthorized biography of Oprah Winfrey. Now, a veteran film and television producer named Larry A. Thompson has announced plans to turn the gossip-filled book into a big-screen biopic. The movie is slated to be released in September 2011—the same month that the daytime queen plans to take her long-running show off the air—but the key part is, as of yet, uncast; Thompson has reportedly said that he’s likely to choose an unknown actress for the starring role. Maybe so, but we can think of several big-name stars we’d be interested to see stepping in to Oprah’s Louboutin’s. What do you think? This is was bond to happen. Finding an actress to play Oprah will be pretty hard. But wait, is Oprah not slightly private about her personal life? How in depth will the biopic be on her life?
i’m not quite sure which actress should play her to be honest…this is a hard choice!
