The 2010 Emmy Award nominations were announced this morning and two of our favorite shows—Glee and Mad Men—and several of their respective stars are in contention for the statuettes. Lea Michele was nominated for her comedic performance as songbird Rachel Berry in Glee, while January Jones got the nod for her dramatic portrayal of housewife Betty Draper in Mad Men; both shows are also up for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Drama Series, respectively. Other stars who received nominations include Glee’s Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison and Chris Colfer, Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm, Julianna Margulies for The Good Wife, Claire Danes for Temple Grandin, Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen and pretty much the entire cast of Modern Family and Rose Byrne for her supporting role in Damages. For a complete list of Emmy nominees, visit Emmys.com or watch the formal announcement after the jump.
