After winning our best dressed award at the Glastonbury Music Festival, Emma Watson has made yet another fashionable appearance: This time, the British beauty is starring in the music video for One Night Only’s single “Say You Don’t Want It.” Her music video debut might not come as quite a surprise as the actress’s current beau is George Craig, the band’s frontman. Britney Dishes on New Collection for Candie’s

Jun 29, 2010 @ 7:00 am

After spending three seasons as the face of Candie’s, Britney Spears has stepped into a new role: designer. She’s co-created her own line of clothing and accessories for the brand. The star spoke to us about the new collection, her personal style, and her favorite pieces from the line.

InStyle.com: How involved were you in the design process?

Britney Spears: First, I met with the Candie’s designers and told them what my favorite styles are. Then, we sketched the items together. I loved it when I saw the samples for the first time.

InStyle.com: So, it was love at first sight. Do you have a favorite item from the collection? More

MJ’s Sparkling Glove Sells For Almost $200K

Jun 28, 2010 @ 4:03 pm

One year after Michael Jackson‘s untimely death, an auction was held to sell some of his most famed memorabilia. Held in Las Vegas, the auction featured over 200 items—including the famed Swarovski crystal-studded glove MJ wore on his 1984 Victory Tour. The lone glove, one of Michael’s most fashionable items, fetched almost $200,000—far, far more than the expected $30,000. And the winning bidder, Wanda Kelley, was prepared to pay even more, telling PopEater.com, ”Let’s just say I wasn’t walking out of here with that glove.”

The Look of Glastonbury: Laid-Back Chic

Jun 28, 2010 @ 2:46 pm

It’s always a treat to see what the stars wore to the U.K’s famed Glastonbury Music Festival—the combination of heat, mud, and rock-n-roll tends to inspire some interesting outfits (and we always welcome the chance to check out our favorite celebs’ off-the-red-carpet style). This year, the four-day fest’s most famous fans did not disappoint: We particularly loved Emma Watson’s high-low look, for which she mixed a Fall 2010 Louis Vuitton corset with Hudson denim shorts and Christian Louboutin boots. And she wasn’t the only star spotted in cut-off jeans—Kate Moss rocked a teensy pair (from Paige Premium Denim), as did Sienna Miller; Alexa Chung topped hers with a shirt from Lacoste. More

Burberry‘s building on the buzz generated by its recent fashion show (which was digitally broadcast in 3D to locations around the world) with an interactive global campaign for Fall 2010. Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey calls the innovative ad a veritable “extension of the runway shows.” The tech-saavy London-based fashion house hopes to bring customers closer to their latest collection via a video starring Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley; fashion lovers can rotate, pause, and click to buy all of their favorite pieces. Debuting at the same time as the digital campaign are the Fall 2010 print ads, which also star Huntington-Whiteley (who just snagged a leading role in Transformers 3), alongside actor Douglas Booth and musicians Gwilym Gold, Rory Cottam and Samuel Fry. All of the “models” are seen wearing iconic Burberry items including shearling-lined jackets, navy trench coats and supple leather handgbags. If merely seeing the big-screen adaptation of Eat, Pray, Love isn’t enough for you, we’ve got good news: Thanks to Fresh, you’ll now be able to smell like author Elizabeth Gilbert’s journey through Italy, India, and Indonesia. On July 15, the beauty brand will release a trio of signature scents—available as eau de parfums and candles—inspired by the Julia Roberts film. “Eat” balances heavier scents like vanilla and caramel with notes of lemon and basil; “Pray” is an amalgam of woodsy and spicy fragrances such as jasmine, patchouli, and pink pepper; and “Love ” features bergamot, jasmine, and sandalwood. They’ll be available on Fresh.com, in plenty of time to perfume yourself for the movie’s August premiere.
