In the biggest royal wedding since Charles and Diana’s opulent affair in 1981, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden married her former personal trainer, Daniel Westling, this weekend in a lavish, yet traditional royal ceremony (with over 1,200 guests and an estimated 500 million TV viewers!) in the Stockholm Cathedral. The queen-to-be wore a custom-made, cream duchess satin gown by Swedish designer Par Engsheden, complete with a 16.5 foot train that took two staff remembers to carry in her wake. She accessorized the off-the-shoulder design with the same cameo tiara and drop earrings her mother, Queen Silvia, wore at her own wedding 30 years ago. Both the Princess and the Queen wore custom Roger Vivier shoes (Victoria chose the Belle de Nuit style in white silk). Click on the gallery to see all the royal wedding style, including two custom Elie Saab Couture gowns the Princess debuted for the celebrations leading up to her big day!

This most certainly was not the biggets royal wedding since Charles and Di. Seems you missed the royal weddings of the crown princes of Denmark, Holland, Noway and Spain in the past years. Those were at least equally big, if not bigger.

I was a bit disappointed in her dress. It was lovely, but not much special.

I think the dress was lovely! Suited her very well! I was afraid she was going to wear something with long sleeves and not very modern. This dress will set the standard for weddingdresses in Sweden for… like 10 years from now or so… And no, he looks much better with glasses than without so I´m glad he choose glasses. But most magificent on the day was the new prince of Swedens speach to his wife during the dinner! The swedish population just melted after that and took him to their hearts.

Love your cause. I would shop in your store if you had women’s sizes, but like most stores, you cater to skniny people. There are more overweight people than there are skniny people, you are limiting your business.
