Clean Up The Gulf With Kenneth ColeJun 17, 2010 @ 9:59 am
If you’ve been anxiously watching coverage of the ongoing Gulf Coast oil spill (and wondering what you can do to help), you’re not alone: Designer Kenneth Cole felt the same way, and decided to do what he could to make a difference by launching a line of charitable T-shirts. Bearing cheeky slogans like “I Clean Up Well,” the $35 tees will be custom designed by each buyer—14 colors, 14 sayings and various graphic designs can be mixed and matched at Kenneth Cole’s Facebook page. And 100% of the net profits will be donated to Awearness, The Kenneth Cole Foundation, to support Gulf clean-up efforts. Find out our exclusive giveaway after the jump!
“By purchasing one of these custom T-shirts,” the designer explains, “everybody can now look good by doing good.” Cole is also giving 50 of our lucky Twitter followers the chance to score one of the charitable tees for free (and he’ll donate the would-be profits of each one to the clean-up fund) so check out our Twitter page at 3pm EST today and be one of the first 50 to re-tweet a special message to show your support.
