Natalie Portman has another project up her sleeve—and this time, it’s not a movie role: The 28-year-old actress (who has a birthday coming up on Wednesday) was just named the newest face of Parfums Christian Dior, joining an elite group of stars including Charlize Theron, Jude Law and Sharon Stone. Although the gorgeous Portman has lent her style to other non-theatrical gigs in the past—including a vegan collection of shoes for Te Casan—this marks her first-ever foray into the world of beauty. “We are extremely excited to have Miss Portman embody our house,” Claude Martinez, president and chief executive officer of Parfums Christian Dior, told WWD. “She will symbolize with grace the values of luxury and the glamour of Dior.”
Fergie’s debut ad campaign for Avon (the beauty giant tapped the Black Eyed Peas’s lead singer last October) features the songstress in a sexy cut-out lace minidress with an armful of edgy bangles. The scent, Outspoken (available for purchase later this month), is everything Fergie—fresh and modern—with exotic notes of passionflower, ebony, saffron and even black leather! Back in October when her appointment was announced, Fergie told WWD.com that “It was very important to me to bring what I have to the table. I’m a bit more rock and roll than some of the other artists, and Avon has really allowed my personality to come through.” Click on the gallery to see more photos from Fergie’s sultry campaign.
After 15 successful fragrance launches, Jennifer Lopez is at it again with her latest scent, Love and Glamour. Featuring notes of Italian mandarin, guava, water lily, jasmine petals and sandal wood, the perfume was inspired by the actress/singer’s return to the spotlight. “What I always like to do is look at where I am in my life at the moment. [Here] it was right after the babies…and getting back to what I do again,” she told WWD. “It just felt like a time of a lot of love and that seemed very romantic to me—I said it seems like love and glamour.” As with her previous fragrance campaigns, Lopez stars in the ads, this time sporting red carpet-worthy retro waves next to a bottle resembling her famous curves. Love and Glamour hits beauty counters in October.

She’s already a top model, beloved by the fashion pack for her slightly curvier shape (and for the distinctive gap between her two front teeth). But 27-year-old Lara Stone is poised to become a true supermodel now that she’s inked a deal to be the exclusive face of Calvin Klein Collection, CK Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans. She’s starring in a series of high-profile fall campaigns—shot by the photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Fabien Baron and Steven Klein—and the exposure is sure to catapult the Dutch native’s career; after all, the fashion house’s previous faces include such superstars as Natalia Vodianova, Christy Turlington and Kate Moss. We already know what type of dress Twilight: Eclipse star Anna Kendrick has in mind for the film’s June 30 premiere. Last night at the MTV Movie Awards, we caught up with her costars Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser, who dished on their wardrobe plans for the big event. “If I go with what I plan to go with, it’s insane! I’m feeling playful these days,” Reed, in a Miu Miu dress, told us. “I’m trying to move into the high fashion world. I’m trying to make more interesting decisions with what I’m wearing.” Reaser, who worked the MTV red carpet in a plunging Stella McCartney jumpsuit, will rely on the guidance of others. “I finally broke down and hired a stylist and it’s changed my life!” she said. “It’s going to involve a lot of different opinions—my sisters, my mother.” She continued: “My style isn’t girly at all. I gravitate towards a lot of Stella and I’m obsessed with Isabel Marant. I’m quite ignorant about fashion, but I’m learning.”

The weekend kicked off on a spicy note with Spike TV’s 2010 Guys Choice Awards, where Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel were each honored for their individual hotness. Theron, in a one-shoulder minidress and caged heels by Versace, accepted the Decade of Hotness Award from Ben Affleck. “Ben and I did a film together, but I wasn’t hot back then, so I want to apologize to Ben,” she said in her speech. “Ten years of hotness? More like nine!” Johansson lit up the room in a canary yellow Preen dress and Jimmy Choos when she accepted her Jean Claude Gahd Dam! Award while Jessica Biel picked up her Holy Grail of Hot statue in a demure bow-accented jacket and skirt by Dior. Hotter Than Hell Award winner Brooklyn Decker, in a silk Grai wrap dress, continued the night’s parade of good looks, which peaked when Sandra Bullock, in a sexy leather Elie Saab dress, surprised the audience as she stepped onstage to accept the Troops Choice Award.
