Oliver Theyskens is finally ready for his comeback: His first gig since leaving Nina Ricci—where his collections were critically-acclaimed if not always commercially successful—is with department store staple Theory, for whom he’ll design a capsule collection timed to debut in the spring of 2011. The Belgian designer, who first gained international notice as the creative director of Rochas, has a flair for creating fresh red carpet looks: The canary yellow Nina Ricci Reese Witherspoon wore to the 2007 Golden Globes is still a classic.
