Selma Hyak is NOT A GOLD digger. She’s wealthy within her own right and did NOT need to get married. She actually called off the wedding initially after the birth of their daughter. Selma is an acclaimed actress, she’s been VERY independent way before she met Pinault. So this notion that she’s some how a “gold digger” is down-right hilarious,

A gold digger is a woman who doesn’t have a pot to piss in and makes it her life’s goal to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to snag herself a RICH man!!

Women who are accomplished and wealthy, are NOT gold diggers. They BRING something relevant to the table, unlike a typical “gold Digger” who doesn’t bring anything to the table but a cheap piece of ass and fake boobs!! Good examples are ALL of Tiger Wood’s mistresses. They were ALL broke biaaaatches looking to cash in on a rich man!!

I like Salma but do agree there is some gold-diggish about her. She didn’t pick a poor boy for a baby daddy. Had they been married first would have looked much better. Wasn’t he previously married with a family and cheated on his wife? Perhaps they were made for one another?

You guys are so lame for calling Salma a gold digger! She is a wealthy woman on her own why would she need that guy for his money, what could he possibly give her that she doesn’t already have besides companionship!?!

I don’t care who this “designer” is the magazine should be ashamed to put this lovely women in such a horrid dress. I don’t think any of you stepped back to even look at this “dress”. It appears to have some kind of skeleton pattern at her waist and some hideous lizard private part right in front of her hips! What is wrong with you people? Put that “dress” in the trash were it belongs! If you think that kind of look will make me pick up you latest issue your wrong, I will pick a different fashion magazine this month. One that doesn’t insult the women that will pick up the magazine, or the woman on the cover.

i have no issue with salma,just that im kinda disappointed when she graced june issue. the last time shes been featured as instyle’s cover girl was in april 2009. there are a lot of gorgeous,successful,stylish latinas like penelope cruz and eva mendes… they should be featured as cover girls too.

Yes, she certainly is one beautiful creation. As far as for marrying a rich man, remember the saying “she is going to earn every penny of it” this is very true and at the end of the day, one must look back on their life and wonder if it was worth it? Imagine, every moment, every penny you are earning it, sort of a lifelong prostitute. What a shame, it reminds me of Ellen Barken, another beautiful woman, she married a rich guy and when she regained her senses, she split from him and she understood that one of the main reasons she married him was because of what came with him and his wealth, but she then realized that she was already in the party, that she did not need to think that she needed someone else and she is much, much happier today. That’s why Ellen, even though she is a bit older then Salma will always be much, much more beautiful to me, I guess Ellen’s beauty is deeper then just skin deep.

First of all, there are people like you who are out there throwing rocks at glass houses when they do not know anything anything what Salma and her husband go through on a daily basis in order to continue to make their marriage work. Most of your
99% Latin people were brought up to automatically just get married and have a baby, stay at home, cook, clean, and basically be a slave driver while men are out working and god only knows what else. This is a new century now and if women chose to work and still have dinner ready that is a differently story to tell. On the other hand the two travel a tremendously out and sometime it interferes with there work schedules but they find time to make it work just as it is one day instead of none at all. For future reference, before people tend to start bashing women about women are gold diggers. People should stop and do there research themselves on either party (to get first hand ) and if both parties are working before they got married and they were both making wealthy money I do not see where Salma would even be a gold digger here. Salma Helyek is a well rounded person, she does alot for her communities, churches, donates and keeps well involved with her daughter and just wants whats best for her daughter and herself. If she were any type of gold she would have stopped acting altogether before she had their baby but just wants what is best for their family for the future. You know she could just be at home just eating bon bons like the rest of the rich women do…. She is a great actress and totally loved her in “FRIDA” and that some of that character was real she is very inspirational. So no, no, no, she not a gold digger she would be at home already all the time or at the beach all the time! Do not hate because she is a latin women!!!!
