A slew of memorable Saturday Night Live alums returned for the special Mother’s Day show over the weekend, but it was the evening’s host, Betty White, who stole the show. A hilarious opening monologue and amazing rock version of The Golden Girls theme song impressed even Jay-Z, the musical guest, who dedicated his second performance to the comedienne. She sparkled from the moment she stepped foot on the stage in a sequined twin set and delivered non-stop laughs (and huge ratings!), appearing in every skit.
