Katie Holmes To Play Jackie O

Katie Holmes has been tapped to play Jacqueline Kennedy in the History Channel’s new miniseries The Kennedys. With her cropped bob, demure smile and penchant for classic fashion (not to mention her experience playing wife to a famously handsome man), we can easily see Holmes slip into the role of the iconic First Lady. She will star alongside Greg Kinnear as President John F. Kennedy Jr. in the 8-hour series, which is set to premiere sometime in 2011. I do see a resemblance there. But that Jackie O accent….hmm..can Katie do it? And Greg as JFK??…not seeing that..but then again none of the actors that I’ve seen portray him, have done it for me. Well..they got me interested in wanting to see it…job well done..lol.
