N.Y.C.’s famous Metropolitan Museum of Art has tapped Sarah Jessica Parker to record the audio guide for the Costume Institute‘s upcoming fashion exhibit, “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity.” The exhibit, on view from May 5th through August 15th, “will look at fashion’s role in defining how American women have been represented historically,” says its curator, Andrew Bolton. “Because of Sex and The City,’ [Parker] is so much associated with New York and America, and with using fashion as a way to shape identity,” Bolton told WWD.
