Going green has never been more fashionable thanks to a slew of eco-friendly products—and their celebrity supporters! Julianne Moore leads the charge with her limited-edition label for Kiehl’s organic Acai Damage-Protecting Tonic Mist (Pharrell Williams, surfer Malia Jones and artist Jeff Koons also front the campaign). One hundred percent of the proceeds from the spray’s sales benefit the Rainforest Alliance. Fashion brands and retailers are also celebrating Earth Day with special initiatives. Loomstate will plant a tree with every purchase made today, while Louis Vuitton is donating 10% of today’s online sales to Global Green USA. Rock & Republic is offering 20% off a new pair of jeans, just for donating an old pair to one of its stores! Check out more eco-friendly products & deals in the gallery below.
Sex and The City is a global phenomenon, and that’s exactly what Patricia Field had in mind when she designed the limited-edition SATC2 SKYY Vodka bottle. “I was inspired by both brands being worldwide concepts. I married the N.Y.C. skyline with the Eiffel tower in the background to broaden the international base,” she told us. “What I love about the [bottle] is the sparking stars. Vodka has been my drink forever.” Field’s reply when asked about the navy blue color choice in lieu of SATC‘s signature pink? “I am over pink to be honest.” When the bottle hits stores on May 1st, fans will receive an exclusive Fandango discount on tickets to the sequel with every purchase. Check out some of SKYY Vodka’s SACT2-inspired cocktails in the gallery!

It’s not every day you see a super star like Madonna walking along your own city block! Harlem residents got a peek at the Material Girl as she shot an upcoming Dolce & Gabbana commercial in the N.Y.C. neighborhood. Wearing a figure-hugging black long sleeve dress, cross pendant and teetering Mary Janes, Madge was escorted by a boy carrying her groceries (she had her hands full with a chic frame bag!) for one scene and was chased by staged paparazzi in another. A crew member divulged to us that Harlem is doubling as Italy for the shoot. We loved Madonna’s domestic diva take in Dolce & Gabbana’s spring ad campaign, and we can’t wait to see the final results from this one!

Nicole Richie kicked Earth Day off by getting crafty at West Hollywood boutique Satine last night. The fashion designer was on hand to support Dasani’s Green Cap program, which highlights do-it-yourself projects as a way to live greener. “We are actually pretty green over at my house,” Richie, who wore a vintage kimono, told us. “We go as far as taking out our phone chargers when we’re not using them. We turn off our power when we leave town…and we use recycled plates and cups.” Using everyday items from sweatpants to rubber bands, Richie created her own green knit cap, which she lined with studs. Does she plan to incorporate sustainable materials in her Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960 lines? “We’re definitely exploring that option,” she said. “Obviously it’s the smarter choice so I think myself and most designers are working our way into that world.”

In celebration of Earth Day, eco-conscious charity Fashion Fights Poverty named their top eight green celebrities. Who made the list? Cameron Diaz was singled out for her involvement in Al Gore’s Save Our Selves climate protection campaign, her promotion of earth friendly hydrogen cars and her stint as the host of MTV’s reality show Eco Trippin’. Rachel McAdams also got some love for Green Is Sexy, a blog filled with green lifestyle tips that she founded with two friends. We can’t think of a better way to mark the day than by giving our kudos to their amazing contributions! Click on to find out which other stars made the list.
Justin Bieber may only be 16-years-old, but the pop phenomenon is already a favorite of Hollywood ladies of all ages, including Ellen DeGeneres, Kim Kardashian, Chelsea Handler and Taylor Swift! The Canadian singer, whose super-swooped crop has reached cult status thanks to his cunning ability to toss it just so, isn’t shy about his Hollywood crushes either: “I’m waiting for Beyonce to call,” he famously told reporters. To celebrate the addition of Bieber’s iconic hairstyle to our Hollywood Makeover tool, we tested it on some his biggest (and most famous) fans!
