She won us over as a romantic comedy heroine in He’s Just Not That Into You, but Ginnifer Goodwin, who will also star in the movie version of Emily Griffin’s Something Borrowed, recently confessed to WWD: “I’m not even a chick lit reader!” The actress lists Jane Austen and Charles Dickens among her favorites, and couldn’t help admitting, “I do read my fair share of Harry Potter.”  Recently, the brunette beauty has her nose stuck in a young adult fantasy trilogy. “I just finished The Hunger Games and [the sequel] Catching Fire… obsessed!” she gushed.  “It’s about a post-apocalyptic world where children are thrown into the arena to fight to the death.”  Yikes!

It is EMILY GIFFIN, not GRIFFIN. And the book isn’t what I’d automatically lop in with chick lit, even with the pink cover. If it is chick lit, and I’ve read all her books and a ton of chick lit, it is the BEST there is of chick lit.
