Ginnifer Goodwin’s Reading List

Apr 8, 2010 @ 6:05 pm

She won us over as a romantic comedy heroine in He’s Just Not That Into You, but Ginnifer Goodwin, who will also star in the movie version of Emily Griffin’s Something Borrowed, recently confessed to WWD: “I’m not even a chick lit reader!” The actress lists Jane Austen and Charles Dickens among her favorites, and couldn’t help admitting, “I do read my fair share of Harry Potter.”  Recently, the brunette beauty has her nose stuck in a young adult fantasy trilogy. “I just finished The Hunger Games and [the sequel] Catching Fire… obsessed!” she gushed.  “It’s about a post-apocalyptic world where children are thrown into the arena to fight to the death.”  Yikes!

Glee Takes Over The Oprah Winfrey Show

Apr 8, 2010 @ 11:37 am

An audience filled with Gleeks welcomed the cast of Glee yesterday on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Sitting on a set modeled after the show’s choir room, cast members Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron, Matthew Morrison, Mark Salling, Amber Riley and Chris Colfer couldn’t contain their excitement over being interviewed by the queen of talk. “We were are all planning to go to Cabo…but Oprah definitely trumps Cabo,” said Riley. Along with stories from the set, they shared about being starstruck after winning a Golden Globe. “Julia Roberts came up to the table,” said Agron. “I thought just us girls were going to go quiet but the boys went quiet too. It was outstanding and astonishing at the same time.” After the Q&A session, the gang performed two songs, and Morrison even battled it out on the dance floor with cast member Harry Shum Jr. Check out their performance of “Don’t Stop Believin’” after the jump!
