Apr 5, 2010 @ 4:50 pmThere’s a new look taking to the streets of Hollywood—socks with heels! From Rihanna to Leighton Meester, celebrities are stepping out in the geek-chic look. The trend trickled down from the runway, where it was seen at Burberry, Christian Dior and Prada’s spring shows, and it’s also made its way into a recent J.Crew catalog. We haven’t seen this many sock hoppers since the ’50s, when bobby socks and poodle skirts were de rigeur. Can you master this fashion feet, er, feat? The trick of the trade is all in the mix. Make sure your socks aren’t too bulky and your shoes aren’t too fancy. Keep it casual and fun!
This was also a trend in the 80′s that I rocked myself .
