First Lady Michelle Obama stays stylish even while gardening! Mrs. O celebrated the first anniversary of the White House Kitchen Garden in chic fitted black pants, a Clu cardigan (with an adorable Schiaparelli pink ruffle on the back!) and gray Converse sneakers. Forty children from local elementary schools joined the First Lady in planting new seeds of bok choy, white cauliflower, artichokes and mustard greens to the South Lawn garden, which has expanded 400 square feet since breaking ground last year. “There’s nothing like watching tiny seeds grow into something amazing.  But the garden was about more than just planning healthy food,” Mrs. Obama told ABC News. “We also began a conversation about getting kids and parents and teachers all across the country thinking about living healthy.” Click on for more photos of the First Lady getting her hands dirty in the Kitchen Garden.

I think that it is great what the First Lady is doing. Our kids are taught very bad eating habits at an early age. Unfortunately to the cost of food has made it almost impossible for some families to buy healthy foods. It is much cheaper to feed your family off of the dollar menu.

I am glad that has jumped in so quickly to make a difference.

Oh please! The day Jennifer Aniston has to copy that homewrecker Angeline Jolie is the day the world stops. Anniston has so much more going for her than the home wrecker that to read that she is copying her style is just ludicrious.
