Hollywood is abuzz with the news that Angeline Jolie is looking to star in a live action version of Walt Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty.” But not in the title role. The raven-haired beauty is angling to play the part of the villain! Jolie has her designs on Maleficient, the wicked fairy Godmother, who casts a spell on Sleeping Beauty, reports the Los Angeles Times. Also rumored to be on board for the project is “Alice in Wonderland” director Tim Burton. Talk about a dream team! We can’t wait to see how this story unfolds.

WOW! That’s VERY exciting! She would be amazing in that role

Maleficient is a witch….. not a fairy

Please please please please please NOOOOOO. I don’t want Jolie in that part at all. I was so excited about this project as she is my favorite villian but don’t think I will see the movie AT. ALL. if Jolie gets the part. I don’t know what to say or what to think. I was excited when they said that Burton was to be on board as well. But don’t like the idea of Jolie as Maleficient. Don’t know who I’d put in the part but the thought of Jolie is upsetting to me.

I hope this isn’t true. I would have looked forward to seeing this had Jolie NOT been cast in any role. I can’t stand her and never see any of her films. Too bad. I love Tim Burton.

To Bad for you, she is a great actress and I love everything she does. I think she would play the part great since she is always thought of as the villian in Brads non-love marriage to Jen. Jen lovers I thuoght would get a kick out of it. Go for it Angie.

So Rocky “can’t stand” AJ, but has never seen her in any film? Then he has no idea what a good actress she really is. I’m a Tim Burton fan and an AJ fan, and I’m sure she can do this roll, just as she’s done so many others so well. She’s really capable of becoming the person she’s portraying and has the ability to do drama, action, comedy, etc, all very well.
