Jessica Simpson Sings On The Price of Beauty

Jessica Simpson debuted her new ballad, “Who We Are,” on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show yesterday. It’s the theme song to her new reality show, “The Price of Beauty,” which follows Simpson around the world as she meets women from different cultures and explores the meaning of true beauty. “I was inspired to write whenever I got back from traveling the world. It’s about the discoveries I found within myself and realizing that I defined my own beauty for myself. We all struggle with the same issues. We all battle self-esteem. It’s just about being good enough for yourself,” Simpson told Seacrest. “The Price of Beauty” premieres March 15 on VH1.

Naomi Campbell Paints for Peace

Naomi Campbell got in touch with her artistic side in the name of peace on Monday in New York City. The supermodel participated in Women for Women International‘s ‘Join Me on the Bridge’ call to action campaign, which invited women from all over the world to illustrate their vision of peace on a white mural, which would then be displayed on a nearby bridge. Campbell, who was joined by Project Runway’s Tim Gunn, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Kate Spade, was all smiles during the final walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. The event honored the resilience of women who have been survivors of war and, fittingly, was timed with International Woman’s Day.

Madonna To Launch Clothing Line

Madonna is making good on her word to dress us up in her love. The pop star is teaming up with Iconix Brand Group to “bring multiple fashion-related projects to retail racks across America and around the world.” First up? A juniors line called Material Girl (natch!) that she is co-designing with her daughter Lourdes. The line is set to launch exclusively at Macy’s in August—just in time for back-to-school shopping! “Joining forces with Iconix to bring my fashion ideas to consumers is very exciting for me,” Madonna told WWD.
