Lindsay Lohan No Longer Designing for Ungaro
Mar 9, 2010 @ 2:07 pmLindsay Lohan is making the rounds during Paris Fashion Week, taking in the Fall 2010 collections from designers including Kenzo, Viktor & Rolf and John Galliano. But there was one show where she was noticeably absent—Emanuel Ungaro. Just last year, La Lohan was named artistic director of the Paris-based fashion house. When asked why she did not attend Ungaro, Lohan responded, “Because I don’t work for them anymore,” reports WWD. Spanish-born Estrella Archs continues to be the chief designer for the house.
I really do wish to know the answer to this question:What possible credentials does Lindsay Lohan have to act as artistic director of a major fashion house–or any house, for that matter?Lindsay Lohan’s claim to fashion fame lies in having brought leggings out from the back of the closet after at least a 20-something-year absence. And wearing them in photos printed in scabloid publications. I actually love Lindsay Lohan. I’ll see a movie if she’s in it.
