Natalia & Agyness Hit The Big Screen

Mar 31, 2010 @ 4:20 pm

Supermodels Natalia Vodianova and Agyness Deyn already reign as goddesses of the runway—now watch them play larger than life mythical creatures in Clash of the Titans, in theaters this Friday. Deyn plays the Greek love goddess Aphrodite while Vodianova undergoes a major computer-generated makeover as the snake-haired monster Medusa. Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes were already three good reasons to see this movie—now we can add two more! Check out a clip of Vodianova as Medusa battling it out with Worthington as the Greek hero Perseus after the jump!

New Eclipse Photos, More From Meyer

Mar 31, 2010 @ 4:03 pm

We love new Twilight scoop! Photos from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse released last night include a glowing Bella and Jacob and our first look at the Cullens (Jasper has long hair!).  Plus, Stephenie Meyer just revealed that the saga will continue! The author’s Eclipse spinoff, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, which tells the story of newborn vampire Bree Tanner, will hit shelves June 5th. According to Meyer’s announcement, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, producer David Slade and the cast used the new book as a guide while filming Eclipse. “I began this story a long time ago—before Twilight was even released. I started writing from Bree’s perspective about those final days, and what it was like to be a newborn,” Meyer said on her site yesterday. “Her story is a nice complement to Eclipse.” Click on for more newly released stills from Eclipse, in theaters June 30th.

Carrie Underwood: Wedding Dress Details!

Mar 31, 2010 @ 3:43 pm

Bride-to-be Carrie Underwood has started to divulge some of the details of her upcoming nuptials to hockey player Mike Fisher (there will be cupcakes instead of cake! Her dog is the ring bearer!) and now the singer has dished about the most important pending detail—the dress! “It’s really pretty. It’s in the beginning stages and it’s very me,” Underwood revealed to reporters. “It’s just girly and pretty, and it’s simple and glamorous at the same time.” If the bride’s red carpet style is any indication of the gown’s glamour factor, we can definitely expect to be wowed when she walks down the aisle.

Carey Mulligan Channels Twiggy

Mar 31, 2010 @ 2:32 pm

Carey Mulligan may soon be stepping into Audrey Hepburn’s shoes, but she embodied another ’60s icon, Twiggy, for Wonderland magazine. The British actress already shares the model’s signature blond pixie cut, and a white Prada shirtdress was all it took to complete the perfectly mod look. In the article, Mulligan raves about boyfriend Shia LeBeouf. “I’d wanted to work with Shia since A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints,” she told Wonderland. “He was so incredible in that film, and we ended up working together well.” We’ll see for ourselves when the couple’s movie, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, hits theaters in September.

Jennifer Aniston has been sporting one fabulous look after another while premiering her new film, The Bounty Hunter—and we love following her stylish travels! For the European leg of her promotional tour, Aniston was all about sexy Valentino minidresses, from her shimmering gold and silver pieces in Berlin and London to a ruffled black bustier version in Madrid. Our favorite among her many looks? The goddess-like nude Donna Karan gown (pictured) she wore to the New York premiere, which took our breath away with its elegance and simplicity.
